Special thanks to Brad Sterup who built and donated a custom Flatlander Steel Knife and JP Enterprises who donated a GMR15 Chassis Set. These items were raffled to benefit the Soldier’s 6 which is a 501(c)3 non profit organization based in Minnesota. Their mission is to provide honorably discharged veterans, police officers, and fire fighters with specially trained K-9’s. These special dogs will become their Battle Buddy and help guide them through the difficult days in life. Congratulations to Michael O’Brien for winning the custom Flatlander Steel Knife and to Chris Oakley for winning the JP GMR15 Chassis Set. Both raffles raised $1,610, and with an additional $500 donation from the MN 3Gun Group, a total of $2,110 will be donated to Soldier’s 6.
And most importantly, thank you for our hard-working match staff. Without them, this match would not be possible.

The 2022 Vortex JP Tri-Gun Match tested new things for us. First was the creation and addition of the new Modified Optic Division which was well received. The second was the transition to the half-day format. There were a few back-ups but with the hard work of our match staff, we were able to get the squads caught up so that neither AM nor PM squads affected one another. It was well agreed that this was one of the smoothest running matches.
Thank you to all that attended. We hope all of you had a great time and made it home safe and sound. See you all at the next match.
