The 2021 Nordic Components & Vortex Optics Tri-Gun presented by the Minnesota 3Gun Group will be held on June 18th-20th, 2021.   A huge thanks to the Title Sponsors Nordic Components and Vortex Optics, and to the host range Forest Lake Sportsmen’s Club.  The 3 day match will feature 9 exciting and challenging stages. 
Thank you to everyone that participated in the survey that we sent to understand some of the key aspects of the match we put on.   Our desire is to continue to put on a top tier match that meets the needs of our competitors and your feedback was valuable in making decisions on how we proceed this year. 
  • We will continue to focus on a three gun match.
  • There will be an adjustment to how the prize table is handled for the match this year with a focus on the top 25% of shooters in each division.  
  • We will do our best to include the social aspects of the match, but please note that COVID-19 restrictions are outside of our control and we will need to adjust accordingly based on the requirements at the time of the match.
Match slots will remain limited so we could maintain the same quality match. The match reached full capacity with a waiting list in the past 5 years, with the 2019 match filling within 73 seconds of opening. It will likely fill fast again so plan accordingly to get your best chances of getting in.
The 1st Phase of Early registrations will be for shooters that were registered to shoot the match in 2020.   If you were registered and paid in 2020 you will receive a private early registration invitation through email in late January. This 1st phase of registration will only be open for a limited time.
The 2nd Phase of Early registrations will be for shooters that have shot the match EACH year since the inception of the Nordic Vortex Tri-Gun in 2016 (4 years straight), but were not able to attend the match in 2020 and therefore not registered/paid.   There are a limited amount of shooters who qualify and they will receive their private early registration invitations through email in late January. This phase of registration will only be open for a limited time.
General Registrations will open up on Thursday, February 11th at 8PM Central Time.  This will be strictly 1st come 1st serve.  Once the match fills, a waiting list will automatically be started and will be based on the order you registered.
A number of shooter slots are reserved for companies sponsoring the match.  Sponsored shooters must have their sponsoring company contact us to confirm their sponsor slot.  If you register as a Sponsored shooters confirmation is needed from your sponsor within 45 days of registration.   If you are unsure of getting a sponsor slot you should submit payment for the meantime to hold their match slot.  In these instances, once the sponsor confirms their sponsor slot, a refund will be sent.
Registration will be done through Practiscore Match Management. Please keep in mind that you have to be a registered user of Practiscore (free of charge) to be able to sign up for the match, so plan ahead.  Once you’re a registered Practiscore user, you can then register for the match.
Upon registering for the match, you will receive an automated email confirming your registration.  Once the match fills, a waiting list will automatically be started and will be based on the order you registered.  If you are waitlisted, your automated email will say you are waitlisted.
The match fee is $295 for adults and $150 for juniors (17 or younger at match date).  Included with the match fee is a match t-shirt and 3 lunch tickets.  
Payment will be accepted either by check or online.   
1) ON-LINE through your Personal Match Management Page using a debit/credit card.  Please note:  If you pay electronically there is a fee assessed of approx $9.   Should you withdraw from the match or if the COVID restrictions make it unable for us to hold the match (which we do not expect), you will be refunded the match fee less the Stripe payment fees.  
2) MAIL-IN by printing this email and mailing it with your match fee payment of $295 ($150 for juniors).  Please make the check payable to “MN3GG” and mail to:

PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF THE DATE YOU REGISTERED, or your registration will be rotated to the rear of the waiting list. 
Staff and Sponsored shooters can register by selecting the appropriate box on the registration form.
Match withdrawals will need to be requested before the end of the day on May 7, 2021 to receive a refund (please see above for refund amounts).  After the May 7th deadline, refunds on any withdrawals will only be given if a replacement shooter from the waiting list is able to take your place.
Self-squadding for approved shooters will open on Wednesday, May 19th at 8PM US Central Time.
