In this episode, we are introducing some exciting changes to both Heavy Divisions, as well as Tactical Limited. Also making note of some housekeeping, abandonment updates & further specification of Senior/Super Senior categories.

Abandonment Changes
2.2.2. A Stage Disqualification shall be issued for abandoning a firearm (loaded or unloaded) elsewhere or outside an abandonment box or barrel.
11.1.16. Unsafe and improper abandonment of firearms.
11.1.16.1. An “unsafe” firearm that is abandoned in a designated abandonment box or barrel shall incur a 60-second procedural penalty.
11.1.16.2. A “safe” firearm that is abandoned in an non-designated abandonment box or barrel shall incur a 30-second procedural penalty.
11.1.16.3. Has been removed.
Division Changes
Tactical Optics Division Remains unchanged.
Tactical Limited Rifle
6.3.2.8. No more than 32 rounds allowed in any magazine after the start of the stage time. Magazines size shall not exceed the original 30-32 round capacity configuration. Extended magazines, magazine extenders, and oversized basepads are not allowed. Drum magazines and coupled magazines are not allowed.
Tactical Limited Shotgun
6.3.3.6. Tactical Limited shotguns shall not be loaded with more than nine (9) rounds at any time. Magazine tubes shall not physically hold more than eight (8) rounds at any time.
Tactical Limited Pistol remains unchanged
Heavy Optics Rifle
6.4.2.7. No more than 20 rounds allowed in any magazine after the start of the stage time. (Removed 01/16/2019)
Heavy Optics Shotgun and Pistol remain unchanged.
Heavy Limited Rifle
6.5.2.8. No more than twenty (20) rounds allowed in any magazine after the start of the stage time. Magazines size shall not exceed the original 20-25 round capacity configuration. Extended magazines, magazine extenders, and oversized basepads are not allowed. Drum magazines and coupled magazines are not allowed.
Heavy Limited Shotgun
6.5.3.7. Heavy Limited shotguns shall not be loaded with more than nine (9) rounds at any time. Magazine tubes shall not physically hold more than eight (8) rounds at any time.
Heavy Limited Pistol remains unchanged.
Open Division remains unchanged. You guys still use pretty much whatever you want.
Special Category Changes
9.3. Senior is defined as a competitor 55 years old or older but under 65 years old at the first day of the match. 9.4. Super Senior is defined as a competitor 65 years old or older at the first day of the match.
Additionaly, we’d like to bring emphasis to a rule change that was in place last year, as there will be strict enforcement:
Pre-staged long guns shall have the muzzle/magazine tube touching the base of the staging box/barrel.
For all of you local MN3GG match shooters, take note that the division restrictions apply only to the Tri-Gun and will not affect local matches.
